I made a deposit on a Friday and called that night to see when it would be available. I was told Saturday. It wasn't. I called again and was told no, it would be available on Monday. I called the branch I made the deposit at and made a complaint because I felt the teller could have told me about the length of time. She confirmed it would be available on Monday. It wasn't. I called yet again. Now I was told it would be available on Wednesday, nearly a week after the deposit! Had I been told this by the teller before the deposit I would have taken my PAYCHECK (by a very large school district) and gone to my other bank OR I would have CASHED my check and deposited in the ATM as cash! Now...they've allowed purchases to go through that they shouldn't have and have assessed fees. But that's another board.
