I have been making my car loan payment for over 4 years with no interruptions. I lost my job and even though there are supposedly so many job available (not really jobs that you can survice on) I have not found a job for 5 months. I requested a forbearance for a couple of months with the hopes of finding something, anything to keep up with my obligations. I called and requested the forbearance and was asked to provide proof of my need which required I provide proof. I sent in my UC confirmation letter.
I just received a rejection letter today in the mail from PNC with the reason for rejection to be "Resolution to temporary hardship is required". What this means is that unless I have a job, they will not offer me the forbearance.
THIS IS RIDUCULOUS. WHY WOULD I ASK FOR FORBEARANCE IF I KNEW I HAD A JOB???
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PNC EVER AGAIN.
